Greece Trough My Boyfriend's Eyes

CLICK HERE FOR ENGLISH VERSION

Viimastel reisipäevadel koos peikaga tuli mul idee, et ta võiks siia blogisse ka omapoolsed emotsioonid kirja panna, seega enne, kui alustame kerge Põhja-Kreeka ringreisiga, toon teieni tema viis kõige meeldejäävamat kogemust/emotsiooni sellest nädalasest siinviibitud ajast. Have fun!

1.Väikses kohvikust tellisin cappuccinot ja minu tüdruk tahtis chai lattet. Selle peale vastas teenindaja „Not for public“. Järgnes tugev segadus peas, proovisime tõlgendada seda kuidagi loogiliselt. Äkki on piiratud kogus ja suur nõudlus kohalike elanike seas. Kas on tegemist mingi koodiga? „Not for public“ Mida see tähendab?  Sain oma kuuma kohvijoogi kätte ja suundusime järgmisesse kohvikusse. Küsisime chai lattet, selle peale küsiti „Toilet?“ „No no, chai latte!“, „No no, no toilet!“.

3. Käekell on aksessuaar. Aeg on relatiivne. Ja üleüldse, kuhu on sul kiiret? Bussi peale?  Buss tuleb siis kui tuleb. See ei sõltu ajast. Käi rahulikult „chai lattes“, et ei peaks jalad risti bussipeatuses istuma.

4. Kassid ja koerad. Tänavad on kodutuid loomi täis. Me sõime Sartis, Halkidiki poolsaarel, rannaääres hilist lõunat ja otsustasime vahepeal rannas mõned kiired pildid teha.

Around the last travelling days with my boyfriend I got an idea to let him to write to this blog about his emotions of this trip, so before we are starting with a short North-Greece tour, I am sharing 5 the most memorable sitations/emotions about our travel week trough his eyes! Have fun!

1. In a small cafe place I ordered to my-self a cappuccino and my girlfriend wanted chai latte. The waiter answered „Not for public“. We were confused, in that moment there were a lot of thoughts in my mind. Maybe there's chai latte in limited amount and the locals drink it a lot? Is it some kind of code? „Not for public“ - what does it mean? I got my coffee and we went to the the next cafe. While we ask chai latte from there we got a reply "Toilet?" "No no, chai latte!", „No no, no toilet!“. Then we realised- if you want to ask where is the toilet, then ask about chai latte.

2. Take some time to travel by train. Delay is more usual than exception. If you need to change the train and the first one is being late, then don't afraid. Probably the second train, where you need to go, is even more delaied than the first one. While you are using the city transport then usually you will miss the first bus with a second and the next one comes much more later that it should. A kind of Murphy's law in Thessaloniki.

3. Watch is just an accessory. Time is relative. And in anyway, to where you must hurry? You need to catch a bus? The bus comes when it's comes, it doese'nt depend of time. Better don't forget to go to "chai latte", then it is at least a bit easier to wait a bus.

4. Dogs and cats. The streets are full of homeless animals. We ate a lunch in Sarti (Chalkidiki peninsula) in one place near of the beach, so we decided to make quick photos on beach and then continue our meal. But while we got back then the chicken which was on the plate before was gone, probably in the place where were a lot of cats eating of something. So if you want to finish your meal by yourself then don't leave the plate alone.

5. Smile and enjoy the life. Autumn sun in Greece is soft and luckily don't harm the people from North. Relax and discover the chill side in you.
