Ciao!
Ja olemegi Itaalia seiklustega viimase postituseni jõudnud!
On olnud üks pikk ning sisutihe reis, millest aitas just Garda meil välja puhata!
Siin ta on!

Asukoht:
Garda linn, Itaalia

Reisi kestvus:
3 päeva

Sihtkohta reisimine:
Bussiga Veronast Gradasse
(Prahasse saamiseks võtsime bussi tagasi Veronasse ning sealt sõitsime otse rongiga Mestresse, kust läksime lennujaama bussi peale).
*Pluss: Reis kestis umbes tund aega ning bussipilet maksis 4€ inimese kohta. Pileti ostsime Verona rongipeatuse eest olevast bussipeatusest iseteeninudskassast.

*Tegemist on täielikult kuurortlinnaga, kus põhiliselt peatuvad saksa pensionärid.
*Restoranides ja hotellides ei tohiks inglise keelega väga probleemi tulla, kuid rohkem räägitakse saksa keelt, I wonder why...

Majutus:

Cheers!

Ciao!
And here it is, the last post of the Italy trip!
It has been quite intensive adventure, so Garda was just the perfect destination to finish this trip with a nice relaxing.
So let's check out this town!

Destination:
Garda town, Italy

Duration of trip:
3 days

Travelling to destination:
By bus from Verona to Garda.
(To get back to Prague we took the same bus to Verona, from there we took train to Mestre and after that the airport express to airport).
*Plus: The bus ride was around an hour and the ticket costed 4€ per person. We bought the tickets from machine which was in front of Verona's train station in the bus stop. It was possible to pay with card and with cash.
*Minus: Although there was air in bus then I still got very sick in there- probably the road wasn't so good for me. While we came back from there then everything was okay, but it was some kind of school bus, so it made a lot of more stops than the previous bus.

About local life:
*Garda is total tourist place, where mostly are old people from Germany.
*Although some people speaks English in restaurants and hotels, then mostly people speaks German, I wonder why...

Accommodation:
I was very excited about the apartment what I booked in Garda- pools, view to lake and so on. Sadly I disappointed a lot, because Residence Parco Del Garda offered us a one part of the house with a forest view, the house from outside reminded me Soviet Union time's summerhouse, but luckily inside was pretty decent. There was no sheets and towels, it was possible to order them by 10€, there wasn't also any toilet paper and soap, and the heating (it was cold inside) costed 8€ per day, there wasn't any wifi (only in reception or next of pools. The whole complex, included our house was on the side of hill, so it took some effort to reach there. And the best part was, that before leaving you have to clean (do the beds, wash/ sweep the floor and so on), or you need to pay extra 58€ for cleaning. Thanks to that system you needed to report to the reception one day before about the leaving that someone could come and check the rooms (are they clean and is there something stolen). As we were quite angry and didn't want to pay more, then we didn't order nothing from there and spent most of the time in somewhere else. The only positive things were the equipment in the kitchen and the cleaning things. Somewhere in the complex there were also small pools, restaurant and a small empty shop, as they were expensive (I am not sure about the pool) then we avoided those places, too. 3 night for one person costed 39€ plus we needed to give the deposit money (150€) which they asked in check-in and gave back in check-out time. Also remember that most of the places in Italy are taking the city tax, which is separate from the main price, usually it is around 1€ per night per person and it can't be paid with credit card. As you already probably guessed then for sure I don't recommend this place, there are so many other hostels and hotels in Garda!

Sightseers:
Well as for that time the weather was already too hot for me and I was tired to explore, then I didn't see much besides the promenade and a church which was near of promanade. But I guess that there's some more churches and castles around the town.

Place to eat:
As it is a tourist place then the promanade was full of food places. Our favourite was for sure the Caffe Roma, which we visited almost in every morning (read: afternoon) and evening. The prices were a bit expensive (the cheapest pizza was around 6€ and big cocktail 7€), but it was in everywhere like this, at least the portions were big (for example I drank a big cocktail for an hour or two and you can share the ice cream with 2 people). There is possibility to pay with a credit card (believe me, a lot of places doese'nt accept them) and there was also wifi. In the last evening we tried a place called Il Portico, where I got super liquid lasagna and where the drink costed as much as in Caffe Roma but was 3 times smaller, also the service was pretty rude. And this place was only some houses away from our favourite place, unbelievable!

Free time:
As in other cities we hadn't so much time, then in Garda we had loads of it. Mostly we spend time to drink cocktails or walk in lovely tiny market streets or in promenade. One big reason why we didn't do much was the sun burn what we got in the second day in there, because as typical Estonians we needed to sunbath and swim. In one evening I saw a summerish party in one local bar, so I guess that in middle of the season there will be more parties. It is also possible to rent bicycles or go with a boat to some neighbor towns. And ofc don't forget the local hills where should be some cool sightseers!

So for this time I am done with Italy!
I hope that you got some new information or courage or tips thanks to those posts
and if you have any questions the write to me!
Cheers!
